Roller blind SP-E
Roller blinds in SP and SP-E flush-mounted systems are primarily intended for use in new buildings, but after making the necessary changes to the lintel, these products can also be installed in existing buildings. Planning the use of this type of solution and the method of installation at the building design stage allows for more effective use of their functional advantages.

The SP-E systems have been developed primarily to protect against heat loss. This has been particularly appreciated by the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt (PHI), which has issued a recommendation for the use of both solutions for boxes with a size of 165 mm and smaller in passive buildings. The main requirement is correct installation in a previously insulated lintel in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. In addition, the window frames should meet the relevant parameters, including a window heat transfer coefficient (Uw) of less than 0.80 W/(m²K) and a glass coefficient (Ug) of no more than 0.70 W/(m²K). An additional advantage of flush-mounted roller shutters is the possibility of using an independently operating mosquito net, which also provides protection against insects.
