PBI 40E is designed for use in residential, public utility, and industrial buildings as internal partitions. Doors and walls of the PBI 40E system can also be used as external partitions only in cases where there are no requirements for thermal insulation and watertightness, and static calculations take into account the influence of wind loads.

The profile depth (50 mm) makes it one of the strongest on the market in this group. The system features technological solutions transferred from the previously introduced PI 50N “warm” system based on mortise hinges. Accessories and fittings are a common feature of these systems. The introduced unification allows for quick construction, eliminating the possibility of errors during prefabrication.
