The SKO and SKO-P systems are solutions constituting a range of adaptive roller shutters for retro-fitting. Given the fact the products are not an integral part of a window and do not require special preparations for installation, they may be installed at any given moment.
SKO-P system box is made of high-quality aluminium sheet, specially varnished with PU/PA coating, ensuring durability and resistance to abrasion and the influence of atmospheric conditions. On the other hand, SKO system box is made of extruded aluminium, which guarantees improved rigidity and stability. These well-designed solutions with an oval shape are a popular choice in terms of wall installation — plus, they are also a superb decorative element of a front elevation.
As in the case of SK and SKP systems, the roller shutter armature may be made of plastic or extruded profiles filled with polyurethane foam. The advantage of these products is the possibility of using a mosquito screen system, operating independently from the roller shutter, which additionally protects the interior of the building from mosquitoes while at the same time maintaining air flow and sunlight access.
